Episode 8: Time To Wake Up!

Welcome fellow humans born onto the nursery planet earth This is the why are you here on earth podcast, and I am your host TA This past Monday July the 29th there was an attack on children in The United Kingdom man with the knife. He's killed three so far and injured seven others and a couple of adults that tried to protect the children. This is reminiscent of how I got onto this particular path. I was going to a Bible study. I went to, I'll go to several Bible studies. You could call me a Bible geek if you liked, trying to figure out what was going on and why it was going on and of course the Bible studies are filled with religious people who have religious explanations for everything that's happening and I was not satisfied with that. It might be true but it might also not be true. It turns out it wasn't true but I didn't know that at the time so I show up on a Tuesday morning for a men's Bible breakfast and the conversation is all about the killings at Sandy Hook, children, defenseless children. And everyone was saying that they were senseless to begin with and then they started finding out more and discussing and saying that the individual who had performed the killings was mentally unstable his mother worked there. He was jealous that the children were getting her attention. What I don't know the entire story but the thing that came out that shocked me was the media's response to this was we need to remove guns from our society, even though we have the Second Amendment. And something similar to this had happened earlier in Scotland, and the man used a gun, and the UK did remove guns from, at least as much as they could from the populace. So now, knife attacks are much more common, but that does not get to the root cause. It just makes it tougher, which these people don't care about. So, I want to get to the root cause. Well, on that very same Monday. I wonder if Mondays have something to do with this. In China, a man had attacked kindergarten children with a knife and disfigured many, killed several. I didn't get the entire story from that because it wasn't covered in American media. And I wondered, wow, why is that? Instead of these are two incidents with crazy people. One had a gun, one had a knife, but why aren't we talking about crazy people? Why are we talking about the implements that they used? And I'm still not sure of the reason but I think it has to do with our impending change and people don't want to change and changing reality forces itself on you so that's what this podcast is all about, the reality of change and my surmise that make it easy on yourself voluntarily change instead of having to be dragged kicking and screaming into the future or To die off so that there is no future. I didn't care for either of those, so I thought, well, you know, as long as we can't even come up with the same rationales, the same logic for why things are happening and what needs to be done to address it, we're never going to get anywhere. Now those words Spoken in my head were prophetic and profound. The thing that's important to understand is that it was just a realization, but I didn't know how profound it was. But I thought, wow, anything this basic and this important, you would think it would be a trust in the Bible and yet there was nothing at all and any of the religious context that we were being spoonfed so of course it can't be in the Bible if it's not in the religious stuff that you're being fed, right? Wrong. That's when I started digging, and I started digging on religion first to figure out what was behind it and why it wasn't addressed, and I found out that that's the, you can't really call it a dirty little secret, because religious people do not understand that their religions are placed on top of human expectations. They are a political thing. They are not an elemental thing. They are an aside, like belonging to the Elks or the Eagles. They're a group of people who band together ostensibly to worship God, but in fact, just to feel accepted by fellow humans. Not all of them, but a preponderance, and that is the way the religious authorities like it, which is you come to them for answers, and they think up whatever they can and assure you that you don't need to worry about it. Well all that is bunkum. It is not at all representative of what the Bible tells you. It is all completely human. It is all pretty much worthless as far as figuring out what's going on and why it's going on the Bible is your source for that now religious people have beaten us all up with the Bible and I responded to that early. I tried my best to prove that religion was a bunch of hooey, and that the Bible was made up bunch of stories that they used to keep people in line. Well, I got 50 % of that. Religion is a bunch of hooey. All the religions, every religion, is a bunch of hooey. Anything it permits you to do or expects you to do that destroys human life and the opportunity to go into the future should make you realize it's a bunch of hooey but we have a lot of people who don't. They want the acclaim of their fellow humans so they get involved to a great degree in religious things that have no substance for humanity. Now I can make that claim, and I'm here to try and explain why to you. But this incident on July 29th in the United Kingdom brings up the fact that we are still not addressing the problem. There are more and more and more things happening that the media will call senseless violence. And that's just a cubbyhole for it, because all sorts of violence, they want to know the reason why so that they can feel assured that they have protected themselves by being in a set of situations that don't include those reasons. And of course we know that that's not possible. Reality exists. It is larger than your perceptions. It is larger than your expectations. And, of course, we come across those and people die. That's what's happening now. People are dying, being killed by others who are rejecting authority as the primary source for organizing life. You can write those words down. That's what we're going through now. This is the time Jesus spoke of on Mount Olives to his disciples and he's told them it had to come. At this point had to come. We had to go through this so don't try and deny it. And that's what we're going through. He started off saying about wars and rumors of wars, but he also added in earthquakes and things like that because, and this is something we need to check on, we don't understand how deeply we affect the biome that we live in. Yes, we're willing to say that we've added too much heat and carbon dioxide and whatever else and are warming the planet from our use of power. But that's only a small portion. And we'd like to blame that and then go on. Like, oh, OK, once we solve that, we're good. No, we're not good. There's a lot more going on and we don't know what it is. Now I've addressed that in the first six podcasts. I laid out everything that I needed to get across just in case. There's a bus out there with my name on it and it ran over me and killed my body so that I could no longer stay in this plane of existence. So my body is still at risk every day, same as yours, same as everybody else's, but I feel that unless I take someone or several groups of someone from where they are now and lead them through discussions to where they need to be that no one is going to put the two together. So that's what I'm busy trying to set up. Group discussions that can be fi lmed and put out there for people to view where someone comes to me and tells me what they think life should be and why they think it should be that way. So these will basically be younger people. Nothing wrong with WHY 24-07-31.pdf that. They're not ossi fi ed, set in their ways, and that's good. But then I'll explain to them just because you grew up expecting this and perceiving things this way, that is a personal viewpoint. It does not necessarily re fl ect reality. As a matter of fact, 999 ,000 times out of 10 ,000, it's not going to re fl ect reality. You've got to leave room for the one unusual individual, like myself, who is more reality -based, more trying to fi gure out what's going on and why it's going on, and I started on this path an extraordinarily young age, and I think that's where everybody who becomes a realist has to start. Anyway, that's what I'm trying to set up. People who will explain who they are, what they are, what they want to see happen, what they expect to see happen. And then I'm going to lay out for them what is happening and how does that impact their view of their lives and their expectations and reality and try and integrate the two. So that going forward, that person will understand, you know, why they feel that way and why that has absolutely no bearing on reality. They can try to preserve as much of that as they can for their personal familial friendship, relationships, that's great, but always realize that reality does not take that into account. Now, why have we gotten to this way? Well, you know I start o ff on my podcast by welcoming you to the nursery planet Earth. Earth is a nursery planet. It was selected to be a nursery planet by the individual we call God, which is a Job title It is not a name So even though we use it as a name It is not a name But we con fl ate things we Take things that are disparate and join them together, especially when they come up in the same instances. And that's wrong. That is something we need to fi ght against. I have a friend who's religious and came to me after reading John 3 and wanted to know how that portion of the Bible re fl ected my opinions on religion versus reality and I told them I said you see what Jesus says yeah you see what Nicodemus says yeah so what does your religion tell you well that you must be born again that's not what Jesus said that's what Nicodemus said so you understand that your religion is founded on a human misperception all of it all of your religion is founded on a human misperception of course he didn't want to believe that so we went back and forth and I said alright read to me what does Jesus say you must be born from above well yeah you got to be born again no no Nicodemus is the one who said you've got to be how can you come from your mother's womb a second time he was denoting the physical but while he did that you You, every religious person, con fl ated coming from your mother's womb a second time with being born again, and that is your highest standard rather than being born from above. What did Jesus say? See, you got to understand that there's a hierarchy here in the Bible. There's God. There's Jesus who was the, to date, only completely obedient child of God. And of course religious people want to deify Jesus when he was born completely human and switched to being born from above, from thinking like that. And that was his message. And he is the fi rst success. He is the pattern that all humans who wish to have a future need to replicate. And that is, make your decisions based on reality, using the method that was transmitted to us in the Old Testament, the original Testament, which was used logic, manipulated by reason, and in checked with wisdom to come Don't it know words to say use your beliefs Use your desires Use your your fellow humans expectations. None of that is in there It's in there showing us that that's what we chose back in Genesis 3 that's what Eve chose She WHY 24-07-31.pdf chose to use her feelings it won't really kill you. And of course they were ejected from the garden. But we take that it will kill you, meaning to be our physical bodies. And we know for a fact that every human born of woman will die. Their body will die. Their spirit may go on, their soul will go on, but their body will die. And yet all religions con fl ate that portion of death with human physical death. Our bodies are our carriers, they allow us to get around and add chapters using our spirit to our soul. These are all things that need to be discussed and brought out openly, not hidden, and certainly not sequestered by a religion, Even though religion is the only one that talks about it, just because they're the only ones that talk about it does not mean they own it. God gave us the Bible, the remedial workbook for all mankind, not for one religion or another, even though the people he gave it to, tried to sequester it into their religion and failed because God made sure that they had to come front and center with reality by having Jesus born into their ranks in a way that they could accept, using miracles that they could not perform, they had to accept the fact that Jesus was extraordinary. Now they rejected him as the Son of God because they wanted to have another 4 ,000 years to part in. What you don't realize is that because it's not in the Bible. It's alluded to in the Bible. But during the period between arriving at Mount Horab and leaving to go into the Promised Land, there were a lot of political and emotional and spiritual things that went on. And Moses was the attorney for mankind, and God met with him and agreed to certain things, if they would ful fi ll their part of the bargain. Well, one of the things that was in there that is not reported because it was hidden was that there would be a 6 ,000 year window. The Israelites who would become the Jews agreed to six quote "God years" unquote a God year being thousand years. God does not measure time that way only humans measure time that way. But he agreed to that at their request. In their minds, they were saying, at the end of 6 ,000 years, save us. Give us the opportunity to grow and develop. And they proved that they were not developed enough to be responsible. Redutoronomy won. But at the same time, they wanted the full 6 ,000 years to master whatever they could. And God said, "Within the 6 ,000 years, all these things will occur." So they had to accept that, and they did. But Little did they realize that 1500 years later, Jesus would be born 1500 years after the agreement, but still within the 6 ,000 year time period, time started when the world started. The world is not the planet we live on. The world is the amalgamated associations of human lives on the planet. That's the world. So the world began as a garden of Eden, and was given 6 ,000 years to mature on its own, to develop. And we have taken that time, but we are nearing the end of that 6 ,000 years. The Masoretic text, which the Jews follow, say we've got 216 years left, okay? But it's happening now. I'm not gonna depend on that, they can. What's happening now is that our perceptions and our expectations are being exposed as something that we thought was world -inclusive and was a rational way of fi guring things out, and we're being shown that it isn't. Way back when, Old Testament, all the way back to the beginning, the Garden of WHY 24-07-31.pdf Eden, Adam listened to God because of his power and authority. He should have felt gratitude. He should have felt awe at the opportunity he was given, but those are fl eeting feelings for children, and we are children. Some of us are older children than others, but we're all still children, and we need to grow up. And this is our wake -up call towards growing up. So Power and authority will only last so long Until you develop to the point where you ask yourself, hmm Why is power and why is authority? the best Organizing force and then is when you discover that it isn't. Now, it's great if you ask these things consciously, but we have not been consciously asking ourselves why power and authority are considered the best. They have just been. If you didn't like it, someone would kill you. How How's it basically? The Romans when they took over that area of the world Each of the Egyptians Rebelled many times. They did not want to live under Roman rule. They didn't want to live that way The Roman legions made sure that they got their wish they put thousands and pond thousands of them up on crosses aligning the roads letting them know that this is what happens when you rebel let this be an example you want to live don't rebel we own this area we took it we intend to milk it of its worth if you want to live during that time, shut up and get with the program. All the Jews were living under this when Jesus was born to them. They were looking for a physical, political deliverer, someone to throw o ff the Roman rule. And of course that was not in God's plan at all. He told us we had to live through this and get to the point where we understood why he wanted us to live, as he suggested. If you don't understand what's going on and why it's going on, you will continually be in the dark running around, my mother would have said, like a chicken with its head cut o ff , not understanding thinking the sky is falling, the sky is falling, when it's not, but there are problems that you need to address, and these problems are brought to you as an aspect of reality. This individual who went crazy and stabbed children on Monday in the UK, had access to the rest of his, the people that he lived with. His family, the society is no longer willing to pay to house these violent people away from everyone else, which is understandable because everything's got more expensive and there are a lot more people like this now. Why are there people like this now? Because the only civilizing factors that we have are expectations. Don't you want to be one with your fellows? No, they don't. They want what they want and they want it now And if you're not willing to give it to them, they will act out and They will kill innocents Because no one protects innocence that well because they expect Everyone to see them as innocents and not to bother them Well, we know now or we should know now that that is not correct But the idea is not to continue to to protect and to live as the way we have always lived Expecting that people will rationally agree to authority and power and go on forward. No No, we have to go with what the Bible tells us, which is to use logic, to fi nd out what it is that we need to do, to use reason, to manipulate that logic, and fi gure out what we need to do, and then wisdom. What ways have worked in the past, what is too hard to put forward now, but needs to eventually come about? How do we need to reorganize ourselves so that not only do these people not have access, they don't have the desire to act out in this way? WHY 24-07-31.pdf Now, it's not going to happen overnight. But people have to start having these conversations The fact that it was listed for us in the Bible to me legitimizes it This is God telling us this is the way that you need to act We're not acting that way I say let's give it a try The more and more I look into it, the less unexplained things there are, reality exists. Working with reality rather than desires or perceptions, you're not going to come up against something where you are Sundered where you are. Oh my god. I didn't see that coming Because you're working with reality you should see it coming now if you don't that's a personal blind spot We all have them, but at the same time you should try to overcome those We need to move forward. We need to organize our societies so that we can be a stable platform for humanity, so that we can go forward, become adults, and go out into the cosmos, into the rest of the universe, and fi gure out, okay, what's going out here, and why is it going on, and what is our part to play in this. Because God sets us up for us and because Jeremiah asked him some very direct questions and he gave very direct answers, we know that our life on this planet is not the end of humanity. God very famously told Jamiah, "I have plans for you that you cannot even conceive of to go forward and to be a blessing." Now the only thing we could be a blessing to is either the rest of humanity or to reality and God deals with reality So that is where I think it's going we need to work on things Using that as an example as a possibility maybe even a probability and work towards that. That's what our opportunity on earth here is all about. Improving ourselves, getting to the point where we can be responsible for ourselves, then setting up a civilization that will allow us to extend our reach. Those are all the things that are recorded in the Bible for us to do, and that is our job. First, we need to grow up. In order to grow up, we need to understand, we need to put aside Our childish decision -making platform, at least for the important things. If you want to think that Bill's burgers are better than Joey's burgers, hey, that's fi ne. It may be something about your childhood, your taste buds, your neighbors, whatever. That doesn't matter. What matters is that you look at the reality of what needs to be done and get that done. So when politics, the policies that we will use to move forward as a society within a civilization, when that comes up, you need to respond responsibly and say, "Okay, do I want to try and keep the old world of power and authority here, or do I want to move forward into the future?" And there are no alternatives. Everything that does not allow you to address reality with the eye towards moving into the future means that you will try and resist and stay in the past. So in the United States we have two main parties the Democrat Party and the Republican Party and they both o ff ered us because they had the power and the authority to do so, two men that were so old that they could not respond well to the people that they were expected to govern. Now age isn't the most important thing being responsible is. One of them, very responsibly some might say, pulled out. But the person he turned it over to is not as responsible as we need. On the other side, the old guy that is responding and did a good job when he was in there may do a good job for another four years. We'll have to watch and see if he gets elected. But the important thing is that we know going forward, that both sides of this particular aisle that was built on authority and power need to be set aside. They're not going to die o ff . They're going to keep pitching at you. But we need WHY 24-07-31.pdf to make decisions based on responsible responsible, responding, I guess it really gets down to that, to reality. We cannot continue to allow our perceptions, our desires, our outdated childish method of decision -making to keep our futures locked away. We need to expand into the future. Now, we knew it was coming. We didn't know when, those of us who read the Bible, and looked to the Bible for direction. New is coming. We didn't know when but we should be able to realize we're in it now and what we need to do. There's more, much more information in the Bible and we need to re -translate the Bible towards possibility and probability and away from religion. All the translations we have were done by religious people with religious expectations in mind. So the import and impact of the words that were written down not in any language we speak today are blunted and don't come through to us. The entire chapter of Hebrews was written as if it was speaking about authority. That view needs to change to reality. And once you look at it from a realism point of view, realizing that God is the, if you don't want to call him the author, if you'd rather call Paul or whomever the author, that's fi ne, but it was preserved for us for a reason. The examples that we were given as far as reality are God at the top. Jesus as the fi rst convert to thinking and acting as God instructed us because he understood why God instructed us and Paul who got the information from Jesus and believed it, but didn't understand why. So those three are our three examples. God who knows it all, does it all, and does not need human perceptions, doesn't use them. Jesus, who was born human, using, and raised human, using human perceptions, human decision -making expectations backed with belief that he was given by his parents and his community and rejected that for God's method, and completely transformed himself, which I'm not suggesting any of us need to do. It'd be nice. I don't really know how, but he completely transformed himself to an aspect of God such that religions wanted to deify him. That's how close he got. But close is not quite enough. Paul, on the other hand, which many religions, especially the Christian religion, practically deify was not. I say practically because they don't. Thank goodness, at least not in my area of it. Practically deify them, but not in reality. Thank goodness. But because he did not have the understanding of why Jesus told him that this should be done. He believed it, he accepted it, he tried to operate with it, and every Christian since then has tried to use him as an example, and they are an example of a beautiful idol with the feet of clay, like Daniel talked about. The feet of clay dissolve when the fl ood arrives, and that's what's happening. The fl ood has arrived. The feet of clay are dissolving, and the beautiful construct on top of that feet of clay are falling. Our religions will fall as reasonable examples of how to address God and society, because they were built on expectations, the human feet of clay. Now, I think my time is coming to an end. I'm getting pretty close. Look for me in the future. There may be one or two more of these where I'm talking into a microphone but I will try and get focus groups set up with individuals or small groups where they can explain their desires and expectations and WHY 24-07-31.pdf I can try to show them how to transform from the completely human not knowing which way is up, why we're going forward, how to go forward, that we are all born into, into the moving forward responsibly by using God's method to make decisions. That is the interim, which is where we are now According to the Jews. We have two hundred and sixteen years. I don't know. I don't trust that it may be true But I know that we need to start the transformation now and we need to get o ff power and Authority as the rationales for organizing ourselves within a civilization, and we need to switch to reality using the methods that Jesus and God taught.
