About this episode:

Making decisions based on desire using individual perspective backed by accepted knowledge is fine for horse and buggy times, but those times have passed. We need to change to the reality-based method God urges us to use instead of depending on childish religious explanations. God asked us to employ logic manipulated by reason and checked using wisdom. We only recently discovered how to do this; we call it the Scientific Method.

Every scene and sentence in the Bible has a message for us. Absolutely none of those messages from God are religious. As children we used superstition as a stopgap for understanding. We can no longer afford to continue to act like children expecting Daddy to come home and make everything better, God has told us we need to grow up and has given us a remedial workbook (the Bible) to assist us.

In addition, He gave us Jesus as an example of someone raised fully human who was educated to the error of humanity’s ways. Jesus changed and tried to get the word out about “changing the way you think” (reality-based rather than perception based) almost 2000 years ago.

Now, we have arrived at the “wars and rumors of wars” stage Jesus told his disciples about. We need to get critical thinkers like Dr. Jordan Peterson and Dennis Praeger wrestling publicly with this information.

TA:

Welcome, fellow humans born onto the nursery planet Earth. This is the Why Are You Here on Earth podcast, and I am your host, TA. Today we're going to do an overview. What is it that I'm trying to get across? The fact is, we need to grow up, and this is very apparent in our society today, even if we weren't aware that we are now a danger to ourselves because of the pandemic and global warming and whatever else. We are a danger to ourselves, so we need to grow up and organize ourselves and our civilizations, and we can't find a way to do that. We can't agree with one another, because we are born into a certain perspective and we carry that perspective with us throughout our lives. God knew this and Jesus told us that the only way that we would be able to grow up and be successful was if we could change the way we think. Now, religious people assumed that that meant turn over a new leaf and start being nice, and you know, thinking of your fellow humans and although that may be part of a, you actually do have to change the way you think. Right now, we make decisions using the infantile, topical method for decision making that we learned at our mother's knee, and we need to switch that to the adult-leaning logical method that the Bible has outlined for us and that science has certified as necessary. If the podcast title has you looking for religious opinion on any subject I bring up, you will not find that here.

During our carefree and, some might say, irresponsible childhood of almost 6,000 years on this planet, religious superstition as a motivator toward responsible behavior regarding our fellow humans was absolutely necessary. Religious observance was the main factor behind the shaping of all of our current civilizations. Religion is what got us to this point. It is now time to put religion and superstition aside. The quote-unquote senseless violence that is overtaking our civilization is senseless only if you look at life through the traditional childish lenses you've created. If you read the Bible for content rather than to support superstitious applications, you'll rapidly discover that we are in the quote wars and rumors of wars, quote end stage of our childhood. Jesus told his disciples that it was necessary for us to go through this in order to get to the time when we will use logic, reason and wisdom to refashion our civilization and go forward. Jesus is being proven correct once again. We have not even asked the question what are the algorithms that regulate and constrain our behavior? Is this increase in violence an extreme form of peer pressure? How did Jesus know 2,000 years ago that we would need to go through this in order to force us to pay attention to restructuring our lives and our civilization? All great questions, none of which we have asked one another. We need to discuss this.

Many people think that God, the Bible and science are completely separate, but these are the people that have never plumbed the depths of John 1 or have quote unquote bought the childish religious idea that John 1, quote must unquote be speaking about Jesus, because they couldn't figure anything else out. God is at the top of the list of expressions of reality. God is above black holes, supernovae and every other visual or otherwise observable aspect of reality. The Bible was created and preserved for us by God as a remedial workbook so that, when we got to the point that we could understand what was going on and why it was occurring, we could reorganize our lives in time to be successful, always realizing that we could definitely not be successful without direction from God. Not be successful without direction from God. No-transcript. If we forget, then we're going to make the same mistakes again. Without direction from God, we will fail. We are failing, and it's becoming more and more apparent every day as the violence increases, and we have no explanation for it because we only think with our childish, topical method.

So how did we get to the point that many believe that science and God are not on the same page? Many people who claim to be scientists still employ only the childish, unscientific, topical method of decision-making that the Bible tells us we need to set aside for structural things in order to grow. No person claiming to be a scientist has come up with this method of decision-making. Come up with this method of decision-making. We get this only from God, confirmed by Jesus and preserved for us in the Bible. In the 11th and 12th century, the only places of higher learning were monasteries. It was in these monasteries that monks looking for guidance from God discovered what we call science today. We owe religion with a capital R for the identification of science as a method for determining what our nursery planet contained, how it evolved and how it supports our bodies.

We need science to work toward our future. We must put aside the childish desire for accruing power over other humans and use knowledge to help us understand who we are, what we are and why we are here on earth. These are the big three questions we were given a day off by God each week to consider back on Mount Horeb. It's about 3,500 years ago. So, returning to the elements of the overview, we need to grow up, but we cannot do that using the decision-making criteria that is, quote, natural unquote to us.

We need to use the method outlined for us in the original testament and referred to by Jesus. We need to change the way we think in order to succeed. Jesus, we need to change the way we think in order to succeed. We must use logic, not political correctness. Well, so-and-so thinks it's a good idea. Reason if we establish this way, will it last or need to be dealt with many more times? And wisdom will this work? Does it get the job done? And wisdom will this work? Does it get the job done? Can we put in a provision that this is just a temporary fix and not meant to be a permanent solution? We need all these things to chart our forward path toward understanding those big three questions and creating a buildable, scalable civilization. Creating a buildable, scalable civilization. Of course, reading the Bible for Contempt brings up many more questions that are not so easily answered.

Was our 6,000 year childhood, chosen solely by agreement with the Israelites. Near Mount Horeb, they were told that a deliverer, a normal human born into the Israelite clans as a prophet, would be an example quote before all mankind unquote. Just as the Israelites were told they would be for good or ill. The choice was theirs. That's Deuteronomy. But he would be an example of a human that would be reorganized to think as though he was quote born from above unquote. To show everyone that it was possible to succeed at growing up and taking responsibility for your own future growth. This is an important point. Jesus was our example. We can each turn ourselves into the kind of person Jesus became by switching our method for decision making.

The Jews, of course, wanted Jesus to arrive at the end of the 6,000 year period. When they were told that he would arrive within the 6,000 year period, agreed to with God what they term as the six God years, according to Jewish manuscripts, a God year being 1,000 years. Now we know that God does not measure time this way, but humans do, so this had to be agreed upon. Was there a reason that it was only six God years? Is there an imperative, a timing that is not just for us but has to do with the rest of existence, what God needs us for, wants us for, expects us to grow up and be available for. To give you an example of what I say when I what I mean when I say read the Bible for content. You need to ask yourselves, as an example, what does Matthew 13, 1 through 30, mean for us, after God telling Jeremiah about the transgressions and sundering of the pack with the Jews, especially in light of Jeremiah 12, 5?

Genesis 3, 66 and the scientific discovery that the bodies that tie us to this plane of existence were developed here on this planet over millennia? Where do dreams come from? Where do new ideas come from? How many levels of consciousness are there now? The religious people have sold the idea that the earth and humans were created on the same day 6,000 years ago. We know from science that the earth was here before that and that our bodies were here before that. But were we human? That is the part that we need to be aware of. It was created 6,000 years ago. We were apparently, according to Matthew 13, 1 through 30, downloaded into an already existing form that had a nascent soul, and our soul was overlaid with that.

There are. We're a hybrid. There are two of us, if you will, in one body. One is dominant and the other not. Now, the only way that you would discover this is by looking at all the examples of humanity that exist, that are considered to be both normal and abnormal, and work out why these things are this way, in other words, the understanding that it should be the top of our hierarchy, rather than knowledge. Knowledge is the fodder to get us to understanding. It is not, or should not be, the end goal.

So these and many other questions I will speak about on my podcast. Why Are we here on Earth? If you have questions, please email me at heytawhyarewehereonearthcom. I've also reached out to Jordan Peterson in an attempt to get a cogent questioner that is capable of understanding what must be done to help get the word out. We need to have this conversation openly, publicly and at great extent. We need to all be looking at who we are, what we are and why we are here on Earth, not just assuming that, hey, no other human told us that I had to do anything, so I'm going to party for my entire lifetime.

Well, we see now that the end is nearing for that irresponsible childish period. The violence is done by us, on us. We want the violence to be piecemeal, but we want to understand why so we can try and short-circuit it. And that is where we come to the Bible, to understanding. The Bible is our remedial workbook. It contains not only all the answers, but all the questions. It has directions, instructions, examples, models, all for us, and all preserved by a method that we don't understand. How could this be transcribed into a language that is not our own, mistranslated, I think, in most instances, into something that we could read and still get information out of? The Bible is one giant, 6,000-year-old and continuing word problem, logic problem, and I know many of us hate logic problems, but it is here. It is many level. It was preserved for us because we need it in order to find our way forward.

Matthew 24, 6 to 8 is the part where Jesus said you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. Don't be alarmed. These things must happen, but they don't mean that the end has come. Nation will fight against nation and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All of these are only the beginning pains of the end of our childhood. Now all the translations that I could find in English and there are about 60 of them say these are only the beginning pains, and then it's characterized of the end, but it doesn't say the end of what. Because it could not translate that portion, because we could not foresee that our childhood would have an end. And it does. And we are here.

Many people are not going to believe that we are quote living in biblical times, unquote. And that's the issue. If you make your decision making criteria based on belief, you will always be behind the eight ball because you will only accept the things you feel sure other people will not chastise you about. That puts you behind. You need to use the scientific method to look at things and say why is this happening? Why do I feel this way about it? Why didn't I foresee this happening? And, in our case, what is in the Bible that will help me understand what I need to do to go forward? All these things are important questions we need to ask ourselves, and that's why reading the Bible for content is so important.

Lens that you created traditionally, that belongs to your childhood, will not work when trying to understand what it is that is happening to us. It just won't work. That's why Jesus told you 2,000 years ago. You had to change the way you think. You still need to change the way you think. You cannot get to understanding if all you use is belief. You must transfer over to reality.

Observable reality can be understood, especially if you have the Bible. I need to repeat that because a lot of religionists think that the Bible and science and reality are totally separate things. Reality can be understood by observation, if you use the Bible as a guide and you can get to understanding, which is what we need to do. So if you have any particular questions or if you have a way of getting Jordan Peterson's attention, I'm sure a lot of people want to get his attention. He's in a religious phase right now, trying to understand things, coming from being an atheist to understanding that God has something for us. He still thinks that religion speaks to what God has for us. He's not yet aware that it does not. So if you can have a way of reaching out to him and letting him know that it's time to step out of the religious blinders that have been created for us, which are all the superstition will allow us using the childish topical method for decision making. That's why Jesus was correct. We need to step out of that and use the lens created for us in modern times, the scientific lens.

If you have read science fiction, then you have used a scientific lens to try and figure out reality, the reality that was presented during these fictional forays. That is excellent practice. Practice. If you are a fan of science fiction, then you are well ahead. Now, if you are a fan of fantasy, then and a lot of times they are combined like, oh say, country and western music. It's just a catch-all. Country and western are not the same, even though they use some of the same instruments. Well, fantasy and science fiction are not the same, even though they give you the opportunity to speculate, speculation along fantasy lines keeps you in the topical childhood decision-making matrix, whereas speculation about scientific things allows you to rise above into the adult-leaning, scientific method for decision-making. That will actually get you to understanding.

So I hope that today's podcast, the overview podcast, has been good for you and has answered some of your questions. Again, reach out to me at ata, at whyarewehereonearthcom or whyareyouhereonearthcom. Either will work. And if you have a method of reaching out to Jordan Peterson and getting him to listen and respond, that would help us all out quite a bit because we need to have questions along this line and he is a cogent questioner. The thing that he is best at is parsing things that have been conflated and that term parse, whether you realize it or not, comes directly from the Bible in Daniel 5, when God said that teke, teke, midi, parsin, that you have been weighed and measured and found wanting, and what you have will be divided. So parsing is dividing and you need to divide correctly, will be divided. So parsing is dividing and you need to divide correctly. Thanks again, this is TA and we will see you on the next podcast. Thank you.
